Food Devils: How to Reach Poison in the Demo

PC / Steam · October 2026 Demo

AT A GLANCE

After the first restaurant sequence and Hunter Table Talk, take Hunter on another expedition. Return to the restaurant and continue the story until Poison joins and becomes available for combat and party setup.

Continue after Hunter Table Talk

The October Demo directs you to take another expedition with Hunter after the first restaurant sequence and Table Talk.

  1. Finish the opening Hunter expedition and continue the restaurant introduction.
  2. Set your menu, progress through the restaurant sequence and open Hunter’s first Table Talk.
  3. Continue until the game prompts you to take Hunter on another expedition.
  4. Set up your party and play the next Hunter expedition.
  5. Return to the restaurant and continue the story. Poison arrives outside the restaurant and introduces the next part of the prologue.
  6. Follow the story into Poison’s combat tutorial, then her normal party setup and Master Rule selection.

Returning after a failed expedition

A route that fights several encounters and later uses Quit Expedition can still reach Poison. In that route, the return screen shows Mild Failure and gives adventurers 30 Hunger.

Check your party’s Hunger before leaving: the exit warning says an adventurer dies if Hunger reaches 100. This route uses Quit after combat; treat it as a return option during a run, rather than a shortcut immediately after departure.

Hunter’s five Emberabbits

Hunter’s early Table Talk asks for five Emberabbits. Keep this request in mind during the next expedition. His later conversation acknowledges the five defeated Emberabbits and leads into the wanted-poster story.

See Hunter Table Talk for the opening conversation and Master Rules when preparing your party.

When Poison is playable

Poison’s story arrival leads into her combat tutorial. Normal party setup and her three Master Rules follow, so continue the prologue rather than stopping at her first conversation.
